I'm thinking I need to try a fuzz face circuit.
One of those ever come up on the build list?

I love doing fuzzes ...... I've got a small stash of NOS Germanium transistors .... I could do a small run of Tone Benders ... what ever version you guys would want ...I'm thinking I need to try a fuzz face circuit.

yeah the Brundle Fuzz is nuts ....I would like another fuzz. Not sure what type exactly though. My flypaper one is cool for that type of sound. I can also pull a convincing page ala 68 with it as well.
From what I have read on the subject, I am leaning towards a warm Germanium.Should we do a " RT " silicon Fuzz ??
Fuck it…Rigtalk fuzz sounds awesome.Should we do a " RT " silicon Fuzz ??
That WOULD be badass.I love doing fuzzes ...... I've got a small stash of NOS Germanium transistors .... I could do a small run of Tone Benders ... what ever version you guys would want ...
and could definitely do something based off of a standard silicon Fuzz face ...
let me see what I actually have for transistors .... I haven't done a tone bender type thing in a long while ... thing with really good fuzzes .... they can get expensive due to parts ... but they are fun to build and tweak !From what I have read on the subject, I am leaning towards a warm Germanium.
I don't play anywhere where temp is going to affect the pedal...
I can make anything if I have a schematic ....I know it's not going to be cheap but what about something along the lines of this.

I don't know but I like the idea! BTW my vote is other LOL.I can make anything if I have a schematic ....
wtf is that ??? lol
what are some of the ones you've tried ?Just throwing out ideas, here's something I've thought about for a long time. I want a simple delay that gives that Whitesnake 1987 "two amps in stereo with a slight delay" effect. Every delay I've tried is not high gain friendly (mud), and gives way too much "effect". I have a dry / wet slave setup and on paper I'd love a simple pedal that goes inline on the slave out to the wet power amp to give it a dialable amount of latency to widen the sound just a little without being muddy... If that makes sense? I did try the Mimiq Doubler but it sounded super processed. I think it's trying to do too much. Have not tried the Keeley 30MS
My LGS has a huge pedal selection, I don't recall all the ones I tried but 10 or so delays they had in stock one day. They all had some form of "effect", as in a repeating of the note over & over. I also had a rack effects unit for a while which was a lot better but nowhere in it was a simple "few mS single delay".what are some of the ones you've tried ?
I play a JTM45 at dancing volume, well with a Power Station, lol.let me see what I actually have for transistors .... I haven't done a tone bender type thing in a long while ... thing with really good fuzzes .... they can get expensive due to parts ... but they are fun to build and tweak !
I should have a Germanium Fuzz in my line up anyway .... to be honest
I think I ran into a video before where Reb Beach was talking about running a delay constantly all the time with the type of setting you're mentioning .... I forget what he was using for a delay though ...My LGS has a huge pedal selection, I don't recall all the ones I tried but 10 or so delays they had in stock one day. I would think a older Germanium fuzz circuit would sound amazing into a JTM45 .... or any fuzz for that matterI play a JTM45 at dancing volume, well with a Power Station, lol.
No experience with fuzz Griff, but I'm pretty sure amp circuit matters a little and that I use power amp gain?
