I’m catholic, but I can call out hipocracy when I see it. Get your head out of the sand if you think it’s a small issue. It’s systemic I the church, covered up to the highest place, the God damn pope knew. The bishops knew. They have treatment centers for molester priests ! What does that tell you ??? They’ve known they’ve had a problem forever, but never went to authorities ONCE. FUCK THEM.

I too am a Catholic so I too have a connected understanding.

Okay...whilst you're ranting..................can you also explain Politicians, Coaches, Doctors, Nurses etc....they too are just as bad.

It's NOT good but it's the human condition that's been around since the dawn of time..and will never end........No, I don't like it but if we're going to sling let's include them ALL.

At least the Catholics help people and mostly for free..............the other abusers don't.

Ever read about the residential schools the Catholics ran? That was some great help. And they did it for free too.

Dude, every handout from ANY church, not just Catholic, comes at a price. "Convert". And after you've converted, here, here's our collection plate. The more you give, the more God loves you.

For free ??? They don’t pay taxes on the biggest real estate empire in the USA if not the world, how is it free ?

Explain other walks of life being molesters ? Yes, there are molesters in most/all walks of life. The difference is that there aren’t organizations dedicated to hiding it from the public since the dawn of time. Are you that naive ??

Not in the realm of the "disrespect" we insta-ban for, but definitely something that if you felt needed to be said would've best been communicated via PM.

Look at it this way:
It's the sort of statement that undermines the mods' authority. If you think about it, that's the last thing OTC needs, right?

All-good and thanks for listening Paul. This response is as much a reminder to the board as anything else, although it ought be said that the members deserve credit for their attitude towards the mods on-the-whole. It is appreciated.
