MURDERATOR
should I run my tremoverb stereo with effects(which is how I'm set up currently.) and run my ultra plus dry? Or run the ultra plus stereo wet with the tremoverb dry? I'm thinking first choice. what say you rig caulk?

Do each. Then listen a few times over the next few days. Your ears will tell you.

I just hope it hooks up as easy as that dude suggested on the ms3 group.

I usually find Stereo to work fine, and is much easier to set up than W/D/W.

W/D/W is fun!

I'll see how hard or easy it is once I'm able to hook up my BOSS EVH Delay ;)
It sounds really good, but it takes a lot gear, wires everywhere, etc.... I have just found Stereo to work just as well, as long as I am using an analog parallel mixer for my time effects.

With the Boss EVH, just one cable from amp 2 and one cable from amp 3. Amp 1 has the typical amp in and effects loop setup. The stereo setup is good too though!!

Ive spent a shit ton of time on this over the years, finally got it where I wanted it, and ultimately figured out I have created a huge pain in my ass to record the setup due to only having so many really good mics and mic pre's, so I run it for scratch padding songs while we are jamming through the parts, but for actually recording the songs I have to go back to what worked in the first place.:doh::doh::doh:
shit......
It's gloriously massive sounding in the room though. by far the best W/D/W setup Ive had yet. 2 center 412's running straight up and 1 412 left and right on the extreme edges of the room up on risers so the effects are in not only in a huge stereo spread, they are above what's hitting you in the face. I had no idea it would be that massive set up that way.. I think it really comes down to how you prefer your rhythm tones the most. Having that un molested open raw chewy fatness seems to be the hardest thing to get exactly where you want it when I'm recording, the parts that have sauce on them seem to get where I want them with far less effort if that makes any sense.

I think it may drive me mad before this is over.....

There you go... Life is good (y)
A bird in the hand is worth much more than noise and phasing issues
Dude-my mode 4 cab was like….farting….it was like Monty python for a minute…

I saw that cab in the pic, I didn't know you had one of those. (y)

it's nice but the avatar steals the show. that cab is awesome. not sure if it's the cab or because it's in that road case-but it will bitch slap you in the face. I don't even know what speakers are in it.

Yeah, that pedal will make it easier since it is already providing the 3 splits.

When I have played with this, I normally run an amp into a loadbox, then back into a cab, and then the DI from the loadbox through a mixer, and then back into a stereo poweramp, back into 2 other cabs. It is basically speghetti wiring all over my room, lol.
