Bogner Uber Ultra 150W KT88 : Noise Issue?

If any amp squeals though, that's probably more an issue with the pickups and their physical position relative to the amp, not the amp itself.

Yes. The second one they sent is a little quieter, but not by much…
 
15-20 feet away is far enough that there shouldn't really be any direct interaction between the transformer and the guitar. Maybe the space you're in is particularly prone to feedback?

I can crank mine into a load box and it doesn't squeal even when it's only sitting about 1-2 feet from where I'm playing.
 
what's your signal chain ?? from guitar to speakers ..... including anything in the loop ...

certain Bogners don't play well with certain things in the loop ...... my 3534 comes to mind

Mine was also incredibly noisy. A lot of squeal and hiss. I think it’s just an amp that requires a noise gate. I sold mine quickly; it wasn’t the right amp for me and the stuff I play.

UU noise things makes me reconsider ordering UU.. Damn I've wanted to make real mate of my uberkab lol

If you’re into down-tuned and extended range modern metal then you’ll probably like it (and probably be running a noise gate anyways).

I’ve got an MTL and I’ve had an UU, and imo the UU doesn’t even belong in the same sentence as the MTL.
The MTL destroys it in every way possible. It’s much more raw, aggressive, open, punchier, and has a much more connected feel. It’s got a very sinister tone. The MTL is also much quieter and easier to dial in.
The UU is more versatile, but for my taste it didn’t excel at anything. it’s very modern, compressed and polished sounding, not my thing at all. Also, it does squeal like a pig when too much gain is used. You also have to adjust the gain accordingly for different channel/Uber mode settings. It’s very sensitIve in this aspect.
Very different amps for very different tastes.

Polished sounding amps are not my thing either. I also dislike seeing certain amp builders getting 'polished' by certain 'gear influencers'. That also results in pig squealing noises when too much polishing is applied.
