On a side note.........man... was John Bohnam ahead of his time drumming.......With John Paul Jones laying it down with Bohnam letting Jimmy Page wander in and out of the song structures even when he couldn't stand up from being so drunk.

Watching that Madison Square Garden show, I could smell the Jack Daniels & Coke from here.

First album was the Supro combo with a Tone Bender pedal. 2nd album was a variety of amps, including the Rickenbacker, Vox, and Marshalls.
Page's rig was on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's "Play It Loud" exhibit back in 2019. Looking at my pictures from there, the display notes that the Super Bass was Page's primary amp for live and recording. It was modified by a guy from NY named Tony Franks. Mods that bumped up to 180 watts and put in KT88 tubes.

I assume he was or is a lot like us.
Walk in. See whats there and pick one.
The other night they had a 70s music man 65 i used.

That LP has the Peter Green mod on the pickup.

I don't think Page had any of the phase switch mods (or B bender) until after Zep. He uses the middle switch position a bunch and it sounds in phase to me, but I could be wrong.
