Talk about selective, this is the very definition of it. You know if a liberal governor did this you’d be all over it, but she’s conservative so she gets a pass in light of what the libs are doing. Wrong is wrong. This is the problem with some conservatives. The fact that the vote to investigate was unanimous by other conservatives is lost on all of you that call yourselves conservative. You say you’re for lower spending, less waste, smaller government but when a story surfaces about these very issues you turn a blind eye, you have no credibility. None. Just a bunch of bomb throwing bullshit artists.
 
The thing is, government is motivated to excess by it's nature. To grow larger, more wasteful, with less good sense, with more intrusion into daily life. Grifter's delight.

You're missing the point. The issue is the selective outrage. If a news story broke tomorrow that Matt Gaetz kills puppies for a hobby CCN would make up an excuse to give him a pass since Matt's a massive Trump boaster,

You wanna talk about waste and excess ? Trump’s tax cuts ( hell ANY tax cuts) for billionaires give up revenue that could be used to pay down the national debt, fund social security for people like us, close the border, etc. But you’re all too blinded by bullshit to see trickle down economics doesn’t work ! Hiring all those IRS agents wasn’t a bad thing if it brings guilty tax cheats in line ! But the right says it’s bad and you lemmings follow them right off the cliff. Bad for who exactly ? Tax cheats primarily ! You pay your fair share ? You got nothing to worry about. You pull a fast one with, oh say, inflating property values at loan time and deflate them at tax time ? You’re all stupid. Or blind.

We owed a home with a two stall garage for 20 years. It was 1/4 laundry room, 1/4 workout space for my wife, and the other 1/2 was all tools. At one point I had a planer, table saw, router, table top jig saw and drill press, and a shitload of hand-tools. I could have made that exact same thing with premium materials for well under $5K, and mainly that high cause I'd have to sub out some of the metal fab work.

Wanted to clarify your point (hope you don't mind) since there's the usual hypocrisy happening all the time with everyone in politics. Many of the MAGA base in Arkansas should be pissed, assuming they may have contributed to her freaking campaign with their hard earned low wage bucks - again, AK is #47 on the income scale.
