Thinning out the herd. I got this Directly from Mike Fortin in February 2016. It started life as a new 1959HW Marshall. Mike then did his Knuckle Mod+. The red “pedal” in the description is an external boost Mike designed. The pedal has some scratches, but the amp is in almost mint shape. I’m the original owner, and Mike shipped directly to me. I’ve probably only put 15 minutes on this amp. It needs to be played so, time to move it along.

$2995 shipped. I can take CC over the phone through my company with no additional fees.

I saw a band using all Fortin modded Marshall’s and it was pretty bad ass I’d say
 
I am intrigued just to see wtf is going on with that pedal deal but not intrigued enough to spend $3k...

Does the boost plug into the footswitch jack and is a stereo cable or anything?
 
There is a Jack in the back panel. Just regular cable turns it off and on.
 
I’ve got a TON of heads. It’s a problem.. I’ve been slaving my MKIIC+ & C++ through a Strategy 400 lately… Just bought another strategy so each MKIIC+ has its own power amp ??

Jesus, that’ll ruin you for anything else.
 
Is the pedal just an external switch that activates an internal circuit in the amp or is it an actual boost pedal?

How many preamp tubes?
 
I'm trying to remember, is this mod the third channel of the Meathead done as a Marshall mod?
