Have gold screws in a bridge humbucker. Can I swap them for chrome without any issues?

I know this should go to the tech section ,but I figured I'd get a faster responce here

Just the screws? That's easy. Just unscrew and put in new ones. You might see some wax coming out.

The slugs of a humbucker usually also can be pushed out and exchanged because the wire typically doesn't wrap around the actual slugs (which is unlike a single-coil).

If they’re not import, they should be able to get standard 5-40 fillister screws. You should be able to get nickel in 1010, 1018, and 1022 alloy

Reported. Switching to chrome from GOLD? What, are you nuts? Did you misplace your pimp card or are you just allergic to that 24k? Or maybe just allergic to a good time! One does not simply downgrade from gold to chrome. If times are really that tough maybe I can lend you a few bucks.

You take out the gold=GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK TONE!!!!
