Starts to warm again tomorrow to a high of 67, then low to mid 70s for the weekend and early next week

I love snow and it is very useful. Maybe less so here in the northeast where we have water, but the western part of the country would be screwed without it

Still pretty this morning, this was looking opposite direction from the pic in my OP

My favorite part of winter is when the sunrises about 6:15am, there is one stretch of road on my drive in that opens up to a lake with the best sunrise view. Still have some time to wait though

reminds me of a boss I had when I worked at CIA. He was a transplant from Vegas and would take videos of the sunrise to send back home. The only time he worked late was to avoid driving in it

I can’t imagine living without them. Nothing makes me feel more alive than the actual threat of my skin freezing

It's been 22 years since I left Colorado. I honestly do miss the snow and changing seasons. Here in San Diego it's pretty much the same year round, except some rain once in a while. I get tired of blue sunny sky's everyday. I love it when it's overcast and gray. It's just jives with me, I'm dark like that.
I love gray skys and 45 degree weather. I love jackets and beanies.

When I visited LA to meet some TGPers it was during the whole “June gloom” thing. I loved it and it was just a bonus that my tickets were cheap.
I remember wanting to eat dinner outside one night and the waiter was gobsmacked because it was “only” like 65 degrees out. He even offered to light a patio heater for me lol.
