OK ..... it's probably no mystery to anyone the most bought / used pedals are OD's , Dist and Fuzzes .

So what's next ?? what's the next pedal you have to have on your board ?

you guys like Envelope Filters / Auto Wah ? Like the Mutron III ? A real nice CE-2 variant Chorus ?

Gates ? Flangers ??? Phasers ?

something old that isn't made anymore ?

software plugins - sound great and take up zero physical space. enjoying my computer rig. recently added the Neural DSP Archetype: Plini X, and the PolyChrome DSP McRocklin Suite 1.5 update is great, keeps getting better, still my fav:

 
I want to try the UA Lion. Some good clips and some not so good clips floating around online since its release. I wanna hear it dimed with the cab sim bypassed feeding my NMV ‘73 50 Watt JMP and straight-front G12EVH loaded cab.
 
I'm not a big pedals guy. By virtue of random luck I've accumulated a few assorted pedals, but most of mine are the same old crap I've been using for over a decade - TC Nova Repeater delay, Ibanez TS7

I recently took the plunge and grabbed an Empress Compressor. It's very subtle, but cool, and lots of options. Also very transparent if set up that way, but I'm not sure the stuff I play needs it. I either have enough gain that I don't want more compression, or I'm trying to play soft to clean up and the compressor keeps driving the signal - but I'm still hanging onto it just in case.

Next pedal, this is a weird one that's been on my mind forever. I sold a Mesa Roadster to a local guy who is really into the ambient sound thing. I had no idea it even existed, I guess I've heard My Bloody Valentine before, but it's different from that. Anyway he didn't have enough cash, so he also gave me a pedal as a partial trade, and I got to choose - I took a pretty normal delay like a schmuck. The other pedal he offered was the Red Panda Tensor. So I went and watched videos of this pedal afterwards and I have to say, I still really want one - it's been on my mind for like 3 years. No idea what I would even use it for - intros, outros, transition slides?

I just ordered a Joyo Ironman series chorus pedal. Never had a chorus. A mix knob to the above pedal would be great.

a good CE-2 Clone with a mix knob is hard to beat ...... I'm in the process of revising my version now .... I have to incorporate the reissue BBD's .... The MN3007's and MN3101's are almost as scarce as real deal 1N34A Germanium diodes these days
