This guitar is now named the Elk.
My little homebrew one man band is called Lawrence Elk, has been for 10 years.
After Inspection, there is a cute happy elk face in the grain. This guitar shall be called the Elk. It was meant to be.

Nice.
I've had the walnut finish Holcomb SVN for about 2 years now & absolutely love it.

The pickups respond to picking dynamics surprisingly well for being so hot.
I'm guessing you're has the alpha and omega pickups ?
Mine has the scourge and scarlet set. Which from my understanding are a little milder in the output (not quite as hot) at least that what Mark said ina YouTube video talking about them. He said in the studio he uses the alpha and omega for the raunchy stuff, and the scarlet scourge for when he needs clarity and sparkly stuff, or something along those lines. Mine are still as raunchy as I'll ever need.
:p ? ?

There is a lot of serious goodness in that photo.
The blackat was the first 7 string I'd had in almost 10 years. I found myself in a new band who wanted to tune lower, a good deal popped up locally and I figured why not go for something completely different?

Then I picked up the PRS as a 2nd option, and aside from loving the guitar, it's a totally different animal.

The Ibanez was my attempt at "replacing" my old 7621 that I sold due to hard times. I prefer the hardtail version slightly, but I like this one enough that I'll probably keep it.

Yes, I've got the Alpha/Omega set. I totally forgot that the newer ones have different pickups.

I've been happy enough with mine that it's cured my 7 string GAS for a while.

They had a walnut SVN when I got mine. I checked it out and considered it. It was really nice looking. But I admit I'm a sucker for PRS fades, bursts and the glossy candy coating.

I’m happy to hear that more “mild” 7 string pickups are coming out. I ended up trading my fishman moderns for classics to see how they work out for me. I woulda offered you the moderns but that’s when you still had the Jackson with soapbars lol
