He's free to say it, and not get locked up. But he's not protected against getting fired. As long as he has the money to float X on his own dime, I guess itsaul goodman :ROFLMAO:
Clearly there's more than the advertisers who are interested in what is said on twitter. The corporate advertisers are just the tool. But sure, in general they probably want a family friendly venue.

And good luck finding anything that's not influenced by $$$. ?‍♀️

Everyone wants shit for free, well someone is paying for it, just not going to be in your favor.
There are indie and alternative news orgs that are supported by the viewers cause they value it. it’s a much better model where objectivity is required.

Yes, but they aren't as indie as you would like to think they are. There's no checks and balances. Most of these so called "indie" guys are rage farming, just blasting out videos, and click baiting them to boost views.

Sadly viewers don't want the absolute truth, they want the truth as they see it. These indie guys will feed you a load of shit, possibly even more so.

Guess it depends on who you’re talking about. I’m not sure that absolute truth is able to be ascertained most of the time. I’m pretty disillusioned with corporate news these days.

The best strategy is DO NOT rely on a single, or just a few sources. Also DO NOT only look for things that support your views, and beliefs.

I'll watch multiple sources with a skeptical eye, and from multiple different political leanings, right, left, libertarian, etc..

I agree. But how can you do that if you don’t view alternative media? Yes, it’s especially important to challenge your own views.

I never said I don't view alternative media. I do, I just don't have full trust in them to deliver information without an agenda, or bias. Just like any other "news" outlet, mainstream or not.

I trust none, but I can assemble a composite representation of the truth from bits of all sources. You like how I added the composition aspect? ;)
