Getting to know my know MBP, made a quick clip with a Zoom Q2HD. Just some clean tones. Trying to decide if I should keep the Boss.
Been my fav for a while.I dig the dig
I use the DIG all the time for high gain stuff. Any of my clips, or Scott's Tonenerd clips, that have delay is the DIG. I find it equally useful for high gain and acoustic guitar, for adding ambience that you barely notice, but miss when it's not there.I quite enjoyed the Boss and the Dig. Not sure about the Neon Egg Planetarium. Can I ask, do you like the Dig for high gain sounds? Other than Leon Todd's Dig video I haven't seen many vids of the Dig in a metal context.
That's a big part of the difference, and the murder repeats. Most of which is lost in a mix, with the DIG just a bit crisper sounding. That feel thing does inspire some cool ideas though, that I don't make up with the DIG. Here's another:I've come close to pulling the trigger on the DM-101 a couple of times now .... BBD delays have always been more about feel than sound to me ..... I love how they put some " Squish " on your attack .....
but I'm such a set it and forget kind of guy ............ I would use about 10 % of it's features .... and at 450 - 500 bucks .... ahhh well
I'll stick to my Vapor Trail Deluxe or my JHS Panther Cub
Thanks man!!!!!!The Gibson in this Vid ..... is just plain SICK !!! what a gorgeous guitar !!
I gotta get one one of these days ......Thanks man!!!!!!
I ran the racks at several stores, played like 8 different 335s. This one was clearly a level above the rest in sound and playability. I don't play it as often as my other guitars, but when I do, looove it every time. It's special.
Check out as many as you can. It was crazy how the sound and feel varied.I gotta get one one of these days ......
Took some pics just for you, GriffI gotta get one one of these days ......
Yes, iced tea. Could almost be a honey burst? I don't know much about the different historical Gibby paint jobs.Gorgeous 335 ............. what is the finish ?? Ice Tea ??? It almost looks like a real light Tobacco burst of some sort ...
amp sounds great too !!
IMO ..... 3300 is a really .... really good price on that . Nice ScoreYes, iced tea. Could almost be a honey burst? I don't know much about the different historical Gibby paint jobs.
I will say, the figured 335s consistently played and sounded better than the satins. Also, it wasn't difficult to get it for $3300 instead of $4g. Tone Shop and GC both were dealing hard.

Awesome! Good to hear. I feel like so many of the demos of the Dig sound great, but never focus on high gain. Instead they rely on showing ambient clean stuff.I use the DIG all the time for high gain stuff. Any of my clips, or Scott's Tonenerd clips, that have delay is the DIG. That's something I always find challenging about guitars. You can play one that sounds and feels great in a store and then order the model on Sweetwater and get a dud. Just had that a couple months ago where I played a Fender American Professional II that felt great to play at a store, but am now doubting whether it's worth ordering after reading a number of instances of quality control issues from Fender these days.Check out as many as you can.
