No one has ever gone out looking to learn about the world around them and came back thinking it was flat.
They pick up of that idea somewhere else and look for things that reinforce it. The only time you will find information about the world being flat, is if you ask "is the world flat"?
If you ask "why do we have day and night" or "why do we have seasons" or "how does GPS work" or basically any question about why things are they are, the answer will never have to do with the earth being flat. never. you have to go looking for it
I'm going to have to challenge you on this one friend. The belief that we exist on a spinning ball held in place by an invisible force flying through an infinite void at thousands of miles an hour is entirely abstract to our real-world, day to day experience. It would not be my first guess anyways. Have you ever hear of Occam's razor?

I think that it is occams razor. The theory of relativity, one theory, explains most of it. Everything in the universe follows much of the same principles.

why earth would follow different rules than everything else is the complicated answer.

My point was in response to your thinking that if someone was wondering about the earth and our cosmology they would not start by creating that model. It's not intuitive and other models can work too.

There are not other models that work.

And the model wasn’t “created” to be intuitive

Tell me specifically something that can’t work in another model.
Tell me a model that you think works? I cannot think of a single one outside of “everything we’ve ever seen in space is fake”.

Because if you take into count the visible universe, there is no explanation as to how our planet can be flat. In fact the very definition of “planet” says that it has to be spherical

Why can't you just answer my question? Maybe elaborate on this point, specifically?

I don’t know what you are asking dude. You said their are “other models that work”

I have never heard of such thing, so I don’t know how to elaborate on them.

Or do you just want examples of how life as we know it would not exist on a flat earth?

I'm asking you to tell me some natural phenomenon having to do with the cosmos and the world we live than another model cannot coherently explain. Like for example the sun setting, changes of seasons, etc.

Neither of those things would happen on a flat earth
