Yeah I hear it..... but a JCM800/plexi can have a woofy low end without an EQ or OD tightening things up. It sounds like a small lower wattage amp but it's crunchy as hell and has some bite to it which is cool.

Man, that's real spongy attack. Not tight at all. I'm not familiar with Soldano gear. Is that typical of how Soldano amps sound?

My SLO 30 is not an ultra tight amp but it’s not necessarily boomy or woofy either . I use a boost with both channels (as I’ve done with every amp over the years) and it’ll give me tight palm mutes in the style of say George Lynch
 
that's actually the best demo I have heard of this amp yet IMO
 
I think this is the poorest it’s sounded to me so far (Still pretty good though). Other demo’s have had a much better low end response.
