not that I in any way believe that the same knotheads aren't going to come over and shit on this thread thread too, but this thread is meant to be more of a general discussion on the future of space and how we are going to continue to utilize it. The dominoes are being set up so to speak, with equipment planned to drill for ice, test radiation and magnetism, weather and heat studies; all lined up with intent to get men to the moon for longer periods of time.

We are looking at the moon for it's potential recourses. I think that's a pretty big deal.

Anyone else care to chime in?

right on time.

anyone that wants to talk about this please ignore the toddler pulling on my shirt. he'll be down for a nap shortly

What do you think the astrorobotics excuse will be next time for bungling the amazing private moon mission?

I think this might be a career ender for them to be honest, at least for a while. Several countries had items and equipment on there hoping to get to the moon and they blew it.

I have a couple handles of Wild Turkey 101 and some King Oscar sardines stashed there for when "we" make it back again. What time's my flight?

At this point I think China will get people to the moon before the US.
Artemis III is slated for September 2026 at the moment

They'll have electronics problems and won't make it.

There is no going back to a place you never were to begin with. Someday you will realize this my Berkshire brother from another mother.

That’s the benefit of manned missions, they can fix problems
