I have doubts you understand how it works.

You are entitled to your beliefs but being saved isn't a past tense deal, it's an ongoing process. You can give your life to the Lord, it doesn't mean you are saved. It ain't over until you've made it to the wedding party. Until you've passed through the aerial toll houses.

Well.. I was right.

Doesn’t the good Shepard tend to His flock, make sure that none are taken?

:ROFLMAO:
Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?' Then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers’" (Matthew 7:21-23)

Matthrew 5:20

For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

But isn’t it Christ’s righteousness that saves, and you’re more or less trying to be good, gradually being perfected by the holy spirit?

John 6:53

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Your aim as a Christian is ceaseless prayer and repentance.

Yes to both... on the second one it's not good works that get you to heaven but yes you have to repent which I guess you could say is trying to be good although it's as much an attitude of disliking sin and wanting to please God.

Belief in an all knowing man in the sky who no one has ever seen or heard from because he wants us to make our own choices. Absolutely zero evidence of his existence, yet the only way to salvation is through blind faith. Simultaneous belief that tens of thousands of people, scattered across the globe in countries who literally hate each other, are all colluding in a decades long cover up about putting men on the moon.

Thread delivers.

International space station is fake, yes ?

What's your favorite guitar loudspeaker ?

I guess it's gonna depend on what style of music you're playing.

:coffee:
True enough. And really that speaker probably plays best in an EL34 amp. The old Fender was designed with old Jenson speakers I think. Nevertheless it sounds really good with the Cream 90. Especially cranked ( no master ). NOS 40s Blackplates and NOS Bugle Boys in the pre. Does classic rock, blues, surf very well. If I was a metal guy I'd probably go a different direction.

Seems like there's a consensus on this site where 90% play the "chugga chugga", and that's pretty much what all their gear is tuned for.

Yeah. Same deal on TB and TGP. That's why I quit wasting my time ( well, got perma banned) at those places many years ago.
Dude starts a thread titled " Why does my P bass sound so good". I reply, " It was probably made from the tree they nailed Jesus to". So long Floyd.

My last band ( I disbanded it and quit gigging about 7 years ago) was a 3 piece hard rock/alt band. Lots of RATM, AIC, Deftones, Chevelle, etc.
I am a bass player. My guitarist used a Triple Rec and a Peavey Joe Satriano model with Marshall 412s loaded with V30s. My rig was ( and is ) a '89 SVT II Non Pro/ '96 Ampeg CL 810.
