My last band ( I disbanded it and quit gigging about 7 years ago) was a 3 piece hard rock/alt band. Lots of RATM, AIC, Deftones, Chevelle, etc.
I am a bass player. My guitarist used a Triple Rec and a Peavey Joe Satriano model with Marshall 412s loaded with V30s. My rig was ( and is ) a '89 SVT II Non Pro/ '96 Ampeg CL 810.

I have this site and a couple other guitar sites open while I'm learning songs and/or recording tracks.

I remember being 10 or so and repeatedly dropping the needle back a little to try to learn Kiss and Ted Nugent songs. By the time there were things like tab and yourube ( not a typo) videos I was already in working bands and very good at picking things out by ear.

Outside a few GarageBand tracks the only recording I ever did was in a studio.
