Just straight up hard rock with a cool groove and some Whitesnake overtones... their not trying to reinvent the wheel but I dig it!
Saw that too, was like wtfWhat’s up with the neck pickup on that LP? Looks like it’s loose and dropped into the route.
Mats Leven, sang on YJM's Facing The Animal and the 98 tour. I thought he was awesome in Yngwie's band.Singer sounds like jack white. Vandenberg lived in the shadow of Sykes.
Not saying he wasn’t great or talented. In Whitesnake he was a shadow . Vandenberg was probably more controllable for Coverdale over Sykes. How bout this; Sykes’ ego was bigger and projected more.^^^ Disagree. He had his own thing in the Netherlands.
Coverdale wanted him because he's a huge talent..
... the only peavey product I ever wantedI can't believe he's not playing his old sig guitars....
His guitars are back on Peavey web site View attachment 282833
I like how Vai played his songsNot saying he wasn’t great or talented. In Whitesnake he was a shadow . Vandenberg was probably more controllable for Coverdale over Sykes. How bout this; Sykes’ ego was bigger and projected more.
Yep, just said the same thing above you. That said, from a solo standpoint I never felt Adrian was a good fit for Whitesnake.
Ugh, Vai "for me" was a disaster in Whitesnake. Saw the Slip tour and to me, it was the Vai show. Much preferred Steve with Roth where he could hog the spotlight and do his thing as opposed to painting the Vai picture on every tune he played with Whitesnake.I like how Vai played his songs
I get it . But it made a very mysterious white snake albumUgh, Vai "for me" was a disaster in Whitesnake. Saw the Slip tour and to me, it was the Vai show. Luckily I got to see Sykes outright kill it with Whitesnake when they opened for Quiet Riot on tour two times. As those old videos show, he was just a monster.
However I enjoyed Vandenburg and Campbell trying to outdo each other on the '87 tour. Saw that tour 3 times. I read an interview with Coverdale when he had moved onto the thing with Page where he stated both Adrian and Vivian wanted to be the guitar star in the band and those guys would try and outdo each other every night and he let them gunsling each other lol.
But to each their own brother.
