Well yes, if we fully leave an ice age oceans levels would be a couple hundred feet higher. That’s pretty significant.
Unfortunately I’m in no way implying that we are near that point
See, even this is inaccurate. For example, if the 3 ice shelves in Antarctica melted, global ocean levels would rise by about 5 feet. Couple hundred ? Come on. Jesus.

Maybe you’re wrong. Put down the koolaide sir.
It’s not the koolaid man.
The electric cars and paper straws and all that shit, I can see people having issues with. I get it.

But to deny our impact on the climate is straight up willfully ignorant

I’m not sure where you got that info, but it’s incorrect. Unless we are talking about 2 different things

I get what you’re saying but in geologic time it is nothing. Plenty of information out there about different climate conditions at different times. Hell the mongols were the result of a slight cooling. I just think that environmentalism is the new religion. I don’t trust any of these talking heads and their agendas.

I think you are lumping me in with a group I am not a part of though. I fully agree that there have been all sorts of ups and downs over the course of history, and I’ve stated it here bluntly
The point is though, we understand what CO2 does to the atmosphere. We understand how much are putting in to it. That right there is enough to comprehend our impact on the climate.
Regardless of whether we are in a natural warming trend (which I believe are), nazis are spreading tin foil in the clouds or lizard people are digging holes through hollow earth… it’s a simple fact that if we as people reduced our co2, whatever effect you believe is causing the warming, would be lessened.

That’s it man. People talk about it a lot because the only thing we can do about it, is to lessen the co2 we are putting in.

if you personally feel that the course our climate is taking is not a bad thing, then we can disagree on that.
But to deny what is happening is erroneous

That is pretty much the definition of willful ignorance right there
No it’s not. Whenever I ask you to provide evidence for your belief you say it’s not your job. Whenever I look it up myself the evidence is abstract, based on models and so on. If it was willful I wouldn’t want to see the evidence.

You seeing it as abstract is on you man.

“CO2 does not cause global warming. Global warming causes more CO2,” said Edwin Berry, a theoretical physicist and certified consulting meteorologist. He called Royal Society’s position on CO2 “pure junk science.”

Ian Clark, emeritus professor for the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Ottawa, agreed that if all greenhouse gas emissions ceased today, the Earth would continue warming—but not because of CO2.
He said that contrary to popular opinion, temperature doesn’t follow CO2—instead, CO2 follows temperature, which, itself, is due to solar activity.

You’d think the way you talk about it that it would be like saying the sky isn’t blue. Well, fortunately the censorship and discredit game hasn’t eaten up all the critics yet.

prove me wrong!

Lol why? Because you want me to? I have no personal interest in doing so. I don’t care.

Just because you guys would rather talk about this than the moon landing in my OP doesn’t mean I have to explain things to you.

You’ve made this theory a huge part of your identity. Hope your ego is strong enough to withstand an admission of error in a decade when this racket is exposed.

Lol yea we’ll see man. It’s been correct the last couple hundred years but next decade is the one! Fuck sakes dude
