Also what you seem to be missing (ignoring) is that these are commercial companies. Basically start ups in an industry that barely exists yet.
Not every one is going to be a home run and not every one will be successful.

Maybe “we” should not invest taxpayers hard earned dollars in space startups that don’t deliver. Anyways I hear they’re looking for a new flip switcher if you’re interested.
