I wonder how many people would vote to spend tax dollars on moon missions in a popular referendum. I’m guessing not many besides NASA employees, their beneficiaries and star trek geeks of course.

well they kind of do don't they? There are some interesting discussion out there about recent politics and how there has been a line created where Republicans are seen as "anti science" and the democrats being the "pro science" party. our country is retarded.
but I did a little research and it's estimated that one half of a penny of each tax dollar goes to NASA (compared to something like the military which gets like 20 cents)

A nation has to have a military force. A nation doesn't need a space program, especially a fake one. We literally paid taxes for them to make a "moon landing" and then they somehow "lost the technology". Obvious bullshit. They fed guys like you so many sci fi movies growing up they had your little head primed from your youth to believe the unbelievable.

Because the fictional shows are there to plant the ideas in your head so you are ready to accept those claims of space travel as a reality. It's like priming a motor with squirts of gasoline. Easier to get it to run. We were programmed you just haven't figured your way out of it.

It’s going to be difficult, if not impossible to offer modern looking footage that believably resembles the previous stuff. I’m sure when they send the next crop of folks “up” they will forget a switch or some other technical error and cameras won’t work. Whoopsies!

I found a video once of a guy that was claiming to have footage of the international space station. You could see the earth below it as the ISS was in orbit. It looked about as "legit" as your average ISS crap. He kept saying "wait for it, wait for it" and he turned the camera around the other way to reveal it was pointed at a solar panel in his yard with the sky above it, clouds moving past, giving the illusion of being in orbit. The solar panel gave the impression that it was indeed the space station. He said he spent about 15 minutes setting up the shot. You have been fooled by studio camera trickery my man.
