This is why I keep two players and that's it. Can't really afford to collect and I just feel burdened by lots of stuff cause I have moved so many times. I call it the six month rule. If I haven't used it in six months I just sell it because it won't get used. I let a nice Guild X-170 go recently for that reason and for more gear $$$$ i.e amp rebuilds and a set of speakers. My outlook on gear radically shifted when I started gigging all the time.

Some days I think about selling off my stuff, but most of it is either parts guitars I put together, or cheapo guitars that I modded to my liking.
They aren’t worth much to anyone else and I can’t bring myself to sell it all for peanuts.

Same thing with my amps. I really only use the Kemper, but still have 5 tube amps sitting around.
4 of them I built with a 5th on the way. They aren’t worth it to sell though

Dan, I’m not wading into the middle of y’all’s spat that’s going on here, but I will say that nothing I have seen even comes close to the type/ severity of the bullshit that I witnessed here just a few short months ago.
