Are you kidding me? You don't think that whether or not "Science" supports the biblical account of creation isn't significant to a believer and their faith? And furthermore, you think a Christian should care more about the supposed need for faith in "Science" rather than faith in God? 🤣 I think I've heard it all now! Anyways, it's not obvious (To me anyways) and here in American we live in free country. At least until enough folks with your self-righteous and paternalistic mindset take over, if they haven't already. BTW as I was arguing with Anywho27 a while back, the fact that NASA uses linear non-rotating earth models for calculations further demonstrates that the "story" is irrelevant, and the math doesn't prove anything.

No I'm not. The Bible is true but it was not written as a scientific textbook for a modern western mindset like it's a scientific paper. Again this is plainly obvious. It was written thousands of years ago and is relevant to all the ages of man.

As for all those calculations that don't mean anything it affects everything from GPS to guidance systems on space probes. How do you think they get things so accurate. It only uses the calculations you are talking about for specific cases to simplify SOME calcs. It's called pragmatism.

I live in Australia and it is also a free country. Some aspects of the USA are less free. Some are more free. On some indexes Australia has been shown to be more free overall. So don't give me that parochial land of the free bullshit.

Well, it's your kid. Thumbpicker, the local school board, governor or anyone else really doesn't have the fucking right to force you to let some asshole indoctrinate your kids. In this state at least, the parent's have to pass tests and meet certain criteria and then the child has to test out of each grade, same as public school kids. The bad thing I think about homeschooling is your kid doesn't get that socialization they would get in regular school.

We moved where we live specifically because we wanted the kid to go to the school she went to. A public school. Here in the middle of nowhere. Her graduating class was less than 100 kids. The superintendent of the district knew all the kids in all 13 grades by name. First time I met him he had blood all over his hands and suit because one of the parents had hit a deer out on the road and didn't know how to field dress it, so he did it for them. The school closed opening week of deer season because they knew none of the boys would be there anyway.

Free not to worry about the cost of the doctor or getting sick.
Free not to have to your kids go through a metal detector at school.
Free to put a decent exhaust pipe on my bike (unlike several of your states).
Free from having slums. There are none here that really meet that definition to speak of.
No HOAs as such - or very rare.

Ask this place why they ranked it higher... it's done on the following criteria.

I do know that whatever it is, Thumbpicker isn't it. He may have a lot of wacked out ideas about and a hard on for America, but he always has. And I've known him for years. In fact I turned him on to this place.
