Sixth Covid Jab - I must be superman!

12 months since my last one. This one was the XBB booster. No side effects - just a bit of a sore arm. I've checked and I'm alive.

Since the booster I have noted the following:
- there are no aliens except in the US and their collective imagination.
- the Earth isn't flat
- guns are boring
- quarantine is a good thing.
- fluoride is in my water supply and I love drinking it
- Elvis really is dead.
- We need more JFK conspiracy theories like a hole in the head
- Trump and Biden bemuse me even more
- bacon and fried potato cause cancer so bring it on.
- I'm even grumpier and more sarcastic

Really dude ? At this point Covid is milder than the flu or a cold and you still went and got a booster ? Even proponents of the “vax” I know, like my wife and her brother, who works for Pfizer, are no longer getting them.

You still wear a mask too don’t you ?
 
My pop is 80 as I've mentioned before. He's the first in line for a new booster.

Actually funny story, for the very first vaccine I had to travel into the big city to find one available. During the 15 minute wait after the shot I pulled out my phone to kill some time and it was the first time I had ever seen 5G on my phone lol.
Of course once I drove back into the mountains it went it away, but for a minute there….

Every morning after I drop my wifes son off at drag queen story hour, and get my soy double latte, and meditate while listening to Train-Drops of Jupiter (remastered) I like to head on in to CVS and get my daily jab. It just gives me piece of mind, and that's what matters most to me/him/they.

It’s all good, the tetanus shot has Covid vaxx in there now. Literally, my doctor wanted to give me a tetanus Covid flu shot combo.

To each their own, I’ll take my chances with rusty metal because I’m a simple man, not a Superman. This not only means that the S on my chest is smaller, it also means my cape doesn’t get stuck in the drivers door.

In other news, the bird flu vaccine will be here before you know it for anyone that wants to collect every flavor, put your deposits in now.

Tetanus shots are usually a cocktail of a couple different vaccines anyways. It’s probably the only vax I keep up to date on, but I work with shitty rusty sharp metal most days

when i stopped doing landscaping I let my tetanus slide for a bit, but between the births of my last 2 daughters I've gotten caught up on shots while I was hanging in hospitals waiting around lol. I've since given up on flu shots again though since they aren't newborns anymore
