After watch the video, I thought you would have been a Dirty Filthy Stinking Hippy (aka Slayer )

Even with a cell phone clip, you can tell that amp is tight. There's a whole lot of clank in there, which is cool.

Just curious, how loose can it get? If you crank the low freq gain knob and lower the high freq gain knob, can you round it out a bit? Or does it kind of always sound tight and clanky like that?

Never gonna be loose with a Wizard...but yes that had all three on board boosts "on". Gains were about 6 on each. So many options. If you play around with the gains and boosts it can cop MCII tones with ease.

I can dial mine in to be a lot sludgier and looser if desired, more so than the MTL or MC I had (and still somehow maintains a lot of note clarity in that scenario), but I feel it really isn't as good for that sort of thing as many other amps I have if that's what I'm going for. I find what would round it out most would be to keep the various knobs that boost it pushed in (not active) and keep the gain knob to the left (the brighter one) set low and the others higher, which is opposite of how I like to set it lol

By default (meaning without extreme settings) I don't think it actually is too clanky, but because of how addictive it is to play with it's tight feel and crispness, I think we like to dial it in to play that up even more and at some point during that threshold clank starts to come out, but imo in a desirable way. My Hermansson's when AB'ed are way clankier to me and tighter, faster still with sharper attack, and I also love them. I rank them just below my Hell Razor for my taste

Btw was that the Mesa 2x12? I am not 100% satisfied with my Engl 2x12, maybe I should look at Mesa...

Yes, I and Yehuda have one. It's one of my top 3 and the only keeper high gain amp I've had with KT88's. I haven't tried the other powertube version Hell Razor's yet, but this one is imo to be way better than the other EL34 version Wizard's I had before. I'm not even sure why the MC or MTL models need to be in production anymore
