That is a GREAT sounding stock Marshall. They don’t all sound like that one.
It’s also got new Sprague Atom bias caps in it. And a factory .68uF mustard on the presence pot.

This is actually the first year of the 2204....yes, they came out in 76 BUT the preamp wasn't cascaded like the circuit we all know today. They had puny gain. The 76 2203 was properly cascaded. So, that makes this 77 even more of a collectors item.
