Please stop noticing.......................100K for a cummins 2500 Ram, 84K for a 1500 Ram w/hemi, sure looks like they are trying to inflate gas and diesel prices equal to EV pricing...........all according to plan....how many Americans can afford 70-85K for a vehicle?
:dunno:

If you are spending more than that its because you want to

I WAS planning on buying a new Suburban soon. That's on hold

I bought my current Suburban 15 years ago used with 35,000 miles for $35,000. That will never happen again :(

I thought that was a company truck or the like?

Yea definitely, it didn’t cost me a cent lol. Actually I bought running boards for it.
It was just a comment on the current pricing of trucks

I wouldn't pay that much for a truck either. About 2001 I bought an F350 with a 7.3 Power Stroke and a 5 speed manual tranny, with 99k miles on it for 16k and I was disturbed about that. It was a great fucking truck though. Until I rolled it 3 times down an embankment over by Young Conservation area. I'm the reason they put guardrails on FF.

My current truck, a 2005 Ram with a Hemi, I got free. My car, a 2003 Lexus ES330, I also got free. I like free cars best.

I’m going to survive, but so far, this year is the lowest gross receipt year for my business since the COVID shut down. Had a couple of years - 2022-2023 - that almost felt like old times. 2024 was Luke warm, 2025 is like ‘what the F*ck happened???’ And day to day expenses like groceries, Home Depot, Target, gas station are like financial termites, you might not notice it from day to day, but then all at once the house collapses on itself.

They can make all the claims they want but the fact is your grocery bills have tripled. Anyone who votes for more of this is straight retarded.

A bag of tater tots used to cost like 2 something. It’s over 6 bucks right now. Fuck Biden, fuck Harris and fuck the democrats.

And PS: I was just awarded my late brother's Ram 1500 Laramie by the Mo Probate Court process. Only 25K miles. Honestly not sure what I'm going to do with it. Pickups are not all that practical for me and my Suburban is my goto the cabin beater.

Inflation is cumulative, so although it's good that it is lowering but has gone up almost 25% in the last 3 years.

Also, it's an election year, what a coincidence?

Prices are still way up. Means nothing but a Fed talking point and so Social Security COLA will stay about 2.6%

His grill is jacked. Dam.

Well I also have my dad's truck. It's an '03 Sierra 1500 with 130k miles on it. It's been garaged the whole time and it's flawless. I mean not a scratch on it, not a stain on the interior, perfect. I considered selling it, but I think I'll hang on to it. It'll keep me from ever shelling out 30k+ on another truck. I don't need a truck for work anymore, but I have some trailers and I haul shit around all the time. I would feel naked not having a truck.

We could trade
j/k
I'm a Chevy guy. My Brother in Law just got a brand new 1500 and it is frickin sweet. But like everything else it is just so damn expensive. About the only thing I would really use a pickup for would be my canoe but it actually fits better in my suburban or my trailer (assuming I bought a short bed truck). And I'm talking about just taking it down to the river which is only a few hundred yards. The trailers are great for the boats and toys longer haul. When we had a camper (29ft Dutchman) I hauled it and the fam to Colorado and back for 2 week camping trip. She complained a little going up some of the steeper mts but for the most part, performed really well. She's a LTZ.

I gave away all 4 of my canoes several years ago after the wife turned me on to Old Towne sit on top kayaks. Fuck a canoe.

My back yard literally ends at the river.
