This guy must have used some kind of AI to filter out the noise and Isolate the band out of the PA, that's the cleanest live Pantera recording I've ever heard where Dime tone is so present and clear. I liked how you can hear Rex's bassline jams as well!
I'm still waiting on a new modern amp that actually captures and sounds like an 1985-1988 Randall RG100ES, so far all have come up short for whatever reasons.........I've played the DIME amp that Dean had a hand in and it was alright but nothing like my 1988 RG100ES.
I've owned an RG100HT rack amp, 1988 RG100ES and a 1989 RG100ESXP and yes they sound like the Dime tone in the video Spider posted.
No one likes to compliment Phil but god damn did that kid have an incredible stage presence with this band. They were all perfect at being Pantera. Each one of them.
