It reminds me of something that Hinder might've come up with 15 yrs ago, before they went pop metal with the new singer.  
There's a hint of an edge there, but it's dumbed down to the safe, formulaic, easily digestible stuff that the masses seem to prefer these days.  
I picture a venue full of people kind of nodding their heads to the beat.
A far cry from the wilder crowds of yesteryear.  
That's where we're at these days.  Unfortunately.
