I saw a news article a minute ago where Mick released a recording of his monitor mix from one of the shows
His toane is nice
And his playing is spot-fucking-on. I honestly thought it was the studio track it was so clean.

That pretty much proves that Mick knows what he is doing and can play these songs. I get that he doesn't want to tour though. But I don't think it is fair for Crue to downsize him to 5% when clearly his guitar playing is the only good thing about these shows.
After reading more about the lawsuits and some history, I’m not sure what else Mick can get from them.
They signed contracts back in the day after Vince and Tommy quit stating that if a member isn’t touring, they don’t get any tour profits. Mick was one of the ones who pushed for that and signed his name to it. Mick is the last one to sell his publishing, which he owns 10% of, the other guys already sold theirs so there’s no royalties to collect on. As for merch, he can only collect on items that bear his likeness, they’re currently selling a shirt with him on it but once those are gone you know damn well they won’t print more.
They’ve already done books and a movie, I’m not sure how much more they can milk the band’s name via licensing while still collecting a big payday after the fact. I’m in Mick’s corner 100%, but I’d imagine whatever money is being spent on these lawsuits will be equal to whatever income he can actually collect on in the future.
Really good points.
I think he should focus on collaborating with others that want to focus on making a kick ass album with giant guitar riffs/tone but they don't necessarily want to tour. I'd buy that album. Corabi, Marrs, Fieldey and the x-drummer of Korn David Silveria. For example.
