I’m using pedalboard playground. Show us your dream pedalboard and let’s comment on how it can be arranged better or suggest to each other how it can be better/cheaper/bougier.

I’m going for the end game, bougie $$, break my lower back and wallet kinda thing.

I play bass, but want all my pedals to be cross compatible with guitar because I dabble a bit. I know I have a bunch of OD, most of the stuff can be done with the HX so a lot of my reasoning is just eye candy/cool graphics. At this stage, the HX would function as a pedal for any crafted synthy sounds that I wanted, and I’d rely on the analogue as much as I could. Don’t think too deeply about it lol

Chain goes from bottom right to left, then going up top left to end at color box, like a C

I don't know about dream, more like a nightmare sometimes, but I've been using this board for many years with pedals in and out. It's an evolution, but can always use advice. I'm a boost junkie, need a straight path in without going through ugly/too many buffers, prefer not using amp fx loops, and don't like gated fx.

First switcher on right
1-comp/rotovibe
2-gate/switcher on the left
3-phaser/trem, H9, Chorus
4-Delay, reverb.
-> out to amp

Left side switcher is all different boost loops, gated. The midi switch is used to change the loops and H9.

I am so embarassed by my pedal board. It's one of the SKB ones from the late 90's, the actual power supply burned out a decade ago and I have a shitty power supply. I need to get my shit in order, seeing boards like this shames me

meh, this thing is stupid for what it is, more like boost demo board. I'm just too lazy to keep swapping stuff out, and certain ones sound better with certain amps, or what I'm trying to do. I have 3 supplies under that board, and have run out of leads. ?

It looks clean and tidy. I run only 6 pedals, so I have no excuse lol

To be fair I gigged the shit out of that pedalboard, the pedal case is still in great condition

it looks cool, but can be a nightmare if something isn't right. Tracking it down isn't fun, and I'll never buy solderless cables again, I can tell you that.

function over form man, sounds like it did it's job. This thing is a behemoth in the case.

Sell it all and go rack

it's pretty ironic, I used to look at those giant rack setups, and think "way too complicated". And here I am...

I absolutely love my board. It is a dream because a dear friend built it for me and to custom specs, which he also developed. I could not be any happier. Here is a quick pic, albeit not the best. I have a whole thread on here about it. I am certain you mean the pedals themselves for the most part, but the board itself is such an important think in designing everything and laying it out.

I use an old wiggedy wah sometimes, a boost my son made me for Mother's Day, sometimes a distortion pedal. Not much, really. Though I will use a few with synths more often to change dynamics on the fly a bit quicker.
