I had a bunch of PRS before they were 'cool' - which I sold later once I could build a guitar that i felt was competitive. I used the funds to upgrade bandsaws, sanders, and about 8k in raw woods! I owned a bunch of them back in 90 thru about 98.

I kind of wish I still had one of my 89 VY, this one ironically plays better. Couldn't pass it up! Brazilian board is very nice, very very little fret wear.

That guitar is my son’s birth year guitar,

He was born 4/17/90

I’ve got several birth year Strats, but no Gibson or PRS ones yet .
