So I bought this knife for my wife - a Benchmade Minigrip- around 2011. She loved it and used it all the time. Then one around 5-6y ago it went missing. $65 new and now $150+ to replace.
Well lo and behold I pull the 2 wheel walker out of storage to cuz wife just had surgery and I randomly reach my hand into the pouch that I fastened to it, and I’ll be a son of a bitch. The knife went missing right about the same time I had knee replacement surgery…5y ago….oops.

Nice. I have a full-size Griptilian ( black) with s30v blade. It’s one of my favorites. I got a fleet of Benchmades. And one Microtech.

Being an Oregonian it feels mandatory to own one. I have a black minigrip as well with 154CM.

For my wedding I bought a bunch of Benchmade knives personalized with their name on their own knife. I can't remember the model, but it had a nice wooden handle, super classy looking. I remember thinking someone's always trying to nab a nice knife, it's a lot harder to nab it if someone's name is always on it. I can't remember the model because I didn't grab one for myself!

I bought a knock off OTF knife a while back and someone nabbed it from me. I'm thinking about grabbing a real Benchmade OTF or other auto knife. Anyone try the Shootout or CLA?

Both are stellar. As is the Microtech UTX or UTX85.

I have a Barrage with 154CM. Not a super steel on the level of S30V or Magnacut or CPM CruWear, but it is still great steel. Better than D2. Kinda the low end of the "Super steels". I've used the shit out of mine and it's given me no problems. A little touch up here or there with a ceramic rod and she's good to go again.
