I feel like I should have allowed two choices in the poll to give more members a better chance of being satisfied with the results.
Wondering if I should at least do a second RT signature model. Two designs are pretty close and it would be interesting to see if we took out the other options where that would go.

I vote for relic Flying V rounded ends and rounded headstock.

Traditional V, it's closest to the Schecter V's I like. RRV is cool, but a traditional V lets you have both feet flat on the ground with the guitar in classical position while sitting. The Rhoads drops the neck a bit too much for my taste.

Interesting timing since I just got a guitar I custom ordered that is my favorite I have. In either case these are some crucial specs for me:
Finish: shellac or egg white or mix of both (no nitro, poly, or oil)
Bone nut
25.5" scale
Body wood: Honduran mahogany, Red Alder or Port Orford Cedar/Cypress (what I got on the guitar I ordered)
Mainly humbuckers, but love good tele's, P90's and my overall favorite neck pickup is a Strat. I'll say '60's Gretsch Supertrons (my all time favorite pickups)
I don't care what the guitar looks like

Don't forget Sam Totman plays an Iceman too. Wait.... That probably doesn't help the case for it having a cool factor.
How about J. Yuenger, he had a signature Iceman. That might help a little with street cred.

The Iceman shape is unique, but isn't for everyone. I have an affinity for them because an IC-300 Iceman was the first "real" guitar I bought for myself back in 1994.

Not a huge fan, I think they're cool in a bass format.
But I def appreciate anything that has personal blood and sweat put into like MadAsAHatter has.

The downside of an Iceman bass is they usually have really bad neck dive. Even the guitars can have some rough neck dive. You really have to pay attention to where you put the strap buttons to get the right balance. Lightweight tuners help a lot too.

There's definitely some sweat build into those guitars. The garage gets nice and hot in the summer time. It's usually hot in there in the winter. I'm pretty sure when working on them I cut myself at some point and blead on the wood.

Since its rig-talk, the Wolfgang seems like the obvious choice to me lol

I’m a big EVH fan and always thought that shape was fugly. Tele-Strat-LP abortion.

That said, a boring unimaginative yet extremely functional and ergonomic Strat works for me. I want it to fit into a stand easily and be able to stand up on its own leaning against an amp.

It's what the community comes up with, but I think we already know Either going to commission the build or commission the parts and have my son do the paint (he's amazing with the airbrush, has been doing votech for body/paint since 8th grade and has been helping to restomod my 61 cadillac coupe deville, so I very much trust his ability) and I'll probably do assembly/setup then have some sort of contest or something to give it away to a member. It might be worth doing two models though. Perhaps one now and one later. ?‍
