Not feeling guilty!

Pre-Yeti. \:D/ But SS is doing SS things here...just being awesome.

My Aunt moved to California in the very early 80s. She sent me a Cassette with music she was into the was post 70's early New Wave like Joe Jackson...
Cali in the 80's must have been great.
Music is all about the vibe.

This place is full of devoted hard rock/metal/shred fans but we were all kids at one time and there were songs we liked as children that were not metal/shred or even on that radar screen. And the good ones stand the test of time.

My sister had this album. I had a crush on Stevie. But Lindsey was sneaky good.

Funny story, when I was 10 years old, I was into KISS! So at Christmas did my grandma get me a Kiss 8track like I ask for? Nope!
It was Fleetwood mac Rumors ! Man, I was pissed. I asked for KISS and got that!

It was like she just grabbed something and didn't care what it was.
Anyway, I listen to it cause that's what I did as a kid, listen to music.
Now? It's a great album, brings back memories.
But all the other kids had gotten Kiss Alive II but when they ask me..........I got nothing is what I said :ROFLMAO:

We begged our dad for an Atari. We got an Intelevision. We begged for a VHS, he bought BETA. … and on an on.

OK when you said 8-track you reminded me of another.

This record has a lot of cool guitar parts. I had three* 8-tracks in our family van. Best of James Gang/Band of Gypsys/Grand Illusion. I can still tell you when they faded out, "kachunked", and faded back in.

* - I added Aja later. Around here that's another guilty pleasure.

I had that too (y) 12 records for a penny deal. Those were the days. Thats when I discovered LED ZEPPLIN IV !

This is awesome to jam leads to if you want to get some flow going and get some longer phrases happening.

Love the turn of the decade into the early 80’s

Dig me some Grace…

Some Toy Dolls

Some Discharge

and some Patty

This is a great progressive rock album. Still listen to it. DeYoung was a great keyboard player and singer. Reminded of Keith Emerson. I could live with 70s music and be content forever.

I was/am a big Fleetwood Mac fan too. Listen to their hits album at least 3 or 4 times a year. But my crush was on Blondie. And Paul Stanley.

I hate the guilty pleasure thing. You like what you like. Own up to it. Who gives a fuck what anyone else thinks.

@RaceU4her is a prime example. Dude is a diehard death metal cat and always shares his love for the most random shit you would never guess he slaps to. Gotta love it.

I think you get to a point, and don't give a F what other people think, otherwise they wouldn't post their pleasures, lol. I got a million more if people want to cringe. :dunno:

If you love music, the "aperture" is wide.

I just love sound dude. I love good melodies, harmonies, weird sounds from synthesis, etc. If it sounds good, it is good. I just happen to vibe with super heavy music the most is all :ROFLMAO:
