all you assholes turning this into a political issue should be ashamed of yourselves.
two reasons in my book

1. gross negligence, on whom i don't know yet
2. intentionally done as in suicide

Um well tell me what area of the country or our lives ISN'T Political now Hmm ?
There' one big orange bag of shit thats caused that.
You be ashamed. Unless my hand was on that stick & collective has nothing to do with me.

Be happy Dan. Be happy.

And there you have Trump on right now blaming it on DEI. What a fucking ass clown as is everyone else who likes him.

100%. He's an obvious sociopath. He has no empathy for the victims whatsoever.

Trump is making it a political issue, just like he did with the LA wildfires.

-My thoughts are with the 67 and their families. Sad day.
-Trump and team should have left politics, Biden, DEI, etc out of today's briefing.
-There will be another time to do that IF it is necessary but we don't have all the facts yet.
-Blaming Trump on this accident is ridiculous.
-ATC did switch the runways for this landing (not saying that caused it).
-ATC did warn the Black Hawk crew that they were too close - but it was too late.
-IMO (not an expert) is that something went wrong in that ATC tower that night.
-We all know that these positions in Air Traffic Control are extremely stressful.
-There is a helicopter refueling station on the other side of the Potomac and supposedly they have their own corridor for getting in and out of that station. My hunch would be that that corridor would not overlap with a normal DCA landing zone. The helicopter was not trying to land at the airport - as someone here speculated.
