Is there a newer delay pedal with a clean boost?

I know there are older delay pedals, like the Tech-21 DLA pedal, that are a delay with a built-in clean boost but they are hard to find.

I'm looking for a pedal i can hit during a solo, that turns on the delay but also increases the volume. I don't want to have to tap dance and turn two pedals on and off. Most I've looked into are not sold anymore.

That sounds like a cool idea. You should have Wayne (@griff10672) build you one.

I have one setting for the H9. Delay (no. 82) I upped the dB by plus 4. Only for leads. Nothing else I have compares. I use the H90 or my lexicon for very slight reverb/micropitch in my tone. The older I get the less I like effects in my rhythm playing.

Edit: and it’s in a voodoo px8 loop

sounds like you need a looper ... like the Boss ES-5 or ES-8 ..... that way you can configure / turn on / turn off with one button push ...

because usually ( at least for me ) boosts never work out that great in a loop .... but my delay is always in the loop ...so ... I would just configure the looper to do all that work ...

as far as one pedal ... the only one that comes to mind is the J Rockett Clockwork ..... it's an incredible true stereo BBD Delay ... it has a pre amp boost ... built in .... but it's tricky .... I tried it in my loop .... with clean sounds it was glorious ..... but when I went to a lead channel ... the built in pre /amp boost would mud my tone up because of the added gain ....

I would at least check out a few vids of it .... not totally sure how you're looking to apply the pedal into an existing setup ... so maybe it would work for you ..

Thanks Dude and actually makes sense. I probably need to just keep the delay low and on all of the time or turn it off, lol.

I am surprised it is that hard to find a delay pedal that has mix and volume controls. I have built myself pedals that can do this, lol.
