C/D slim neck is as effortless and fast as it gets, no? I have something like that on my guitar and it is great. But I do not have enough experience about neck profiles and anything works for me it seems.

Mahogany body was chosen because I already have one Swamp Ash and one Black Limba ones

I'm gonna go ahead and suggest a filtertron for the bridge and a duncan invader in the neck. Coil splits and phase switches should be part of the equation.

This is my worst nightmare. Imagine your kid comes through and turns knobs and flips switches. Never get the thing adjusted again..
