I was going to say..I could hear it right off the bat. Unfortunately autotune takes a note and makes it sound like a keyboard or a robot because it has zero dynamics and results in a long uniform note with no ramp up or drop off.. I think you should have left it natural because you have good tone and sort of a hybrid Rick Emmet thing going on. Great performance as usual BUT I will say for me " it's a NO dawg" ..auto tune is just not listenable. Like when they had Bach do the masked singer. Everything was auto tuned and it sounded so fake. Auto tune is the devil and it has ruined music imo

I hear ya, but the thing we love about the old days is that authentic performance. Sometimes a singer may have been off, but it added character. Now, they also did 10 takes and then pieced it together and of course these guys had natural talent. I guess for me I just thought your tone is really good but all i could hear was autotune. Anyway who cares, who am I? Just some boomer on the internet lol
 
Nice job dstroud but I was waiting for you to bust into some Hetfield inspired "Yeaaaaah Yeaaaaaaaaah" stuff after one or two of the lines.

oh I get it man!!! I was just doing it pretty fast too, just knocking it out. I need to become a better singer though haha

honestly I forgot those!! I was recording and I thought now what goes here??? and I just ended up repeating a verse… doh!!!!

Careful though, Gene may copyright strike that video to claim that Kiss shirt is why it’s getting any views.
