I think it’s the most refined amp I’ve ever played. That’s the best way I can put it.

Others will chime in too I’m sure but for me it’s so much gain…I don’t know what to do with it
It’s super tight and remains incredibly articulate even when all the gain knobs are turned up and the boosts are on but I genuinely believe it’s best for those interested in downtuned chugging
I got it because I was just super curious, and it’s terrific, but it’s way more than what I need
MTL is perfect for me personally. I keep thinking about selling the MCII and HR but honestly everytime I start to think that or talk to someone who might be interested, I immediately go “naaaaahhhhhhhh” lol
Rick makes solid amps. You won’t be disappointed with any of the lineup!
