The local deer love my garden but don't like the garlic, yet have no problem pulling it out of the ground everywhere.
I tried to make a sacrifice garden for them to eat from so they don't get into my main one, but they still jump over the fence and destroy stuff.
Same thing with my peppers and onions. Uproot them and leave them to die.
Pretty sure they're just doing it to be aholes.

Voles used to do that to my garden. Chew through the stalks of everything and then leave it to die.

Then we got a good deterrent

The deer here might as well be from a petting zoo.
Cars, people, dogs, etc... nothing bothers or deters them.

For me-mastiff’s are the greatest dogs you could have. Loyal to the death especially the corso. But the love and devotion they have to their family is hard to describe.
