According to admin, several members have noticed "unfamiliar" addresses in the last 2 days.

Keep an eye on yours in your account settings and please report anything suspicious to us.

Probably no need to panic; just playing it safe here.

Not a growing issue.

I considered that but there's always blowback when stickies are added. Same goes for the Classifieds; one could argue it would be useful there too, so in 3 places? Yeah... na.

Thanks for the feedback Sister Lisa.

The word will get out anyway. :dunno:

Yeah, I received an email with a verification code out of no where. It definitely wasn’t me so I came here and got a new code and logged back in.

Sounds like your submitted email address in your account hadn't changed 'though right?

If so, all-good I reckon.

No need to worry then.

I can't explain why you received the verification code, but the heads-up of the thread is that a handful of peeps apparently noticed an email-address change in their accounts.

I couldn’t post in classifieds a few minutes ago. It showed like i needed to do the 2fa again. I changed my password and signed back in and i can post in classifieds again but it didnt send me a 2fa code. Just signed me in like old times.

On your same email? Correct?

Try to post a sample fs on for sale
It will let me post now. Was just some glitch i guess. But i can respond or post again now. It still isnt sending me an email 2fa code to sign in after i sign out. Yet i can sign in and post in classifieds. My email address is the same when i go to my account settings.

It shouldn't require you to submit a code every time you log out and back in IIRC.

Just once a month or something...
It’s every time. And if I’m traveling and on a phone ( I don’t email on the phone) it’s too big of a pain in the ass to fuck with. Hence why I haven’t checked my account for signs of the Australistanian terrorist hack.
