Anyway... I had an Ares years ago. Dope amp. I think I preferred the Gemini though.
 
It seems scammy for sure but he did respond to my question about tubes with pics of TAD pre and power tubes next to the actual chassis so idk. The deal isn’t THAT good for me to risk a headache
 
I had contacted him through eBay to point out his description was a little off and it should be for an amp and not a guitar part.

He replied back a few days later saying something like "If you call it “off” it seems like you know enough about its functions. Everything on it is operational. No issues whatsoever."

He never updated the listing with the correct information :dunno:

It is strange (and weird) that he knows (at least now) the information is not correct, and he still doesn't update it.

This would/should worry any potential buyer.

No way, he’s legit. He told me the shipping from deep in the African Congo could take a few months to arrive, but he gave me his word it’s totally legit. Immediately send him payment with PayPal friends and family.

i thought it might have been the lame AI description but rereading it it is more like it was translated from who knows what language from another AI then posted

so yeah not worth the risk,

IN MY OPINION

could be completely legit, idk or have a good way to tell

i hate that, the i looked at it once or have maybe something i'm watching somehting similar that i get an offer from six different sellers or six differnet things,

reverb does this as well

Yeah, Reverb did that once to me when I was looking for a PRS wrap tail bridge that was adjustable for intonation. Arkansas Music Works (fairly local) had them listed, so I put it on my watch page to reference it the next time I was in there and show them what I wanted. Got an offer at a lower price, thinking it was from them since I had watched it and bought it to only realize later it was from a completely different seller in another state that I didn't have any clue about. The next time I was in Arkansas Music Works, I told them about how Reverb basically undercut them for another seller. They were none too happy about it.
 
There is no way on god's green earth this is legit, and i'm tempted to delete this post just to prevent the listing from getting any more traction and eyeballs
