After that I've been diving into their catalog. Any favorite albums?

I mean I’m partial to the earlier stuff with fast Eddie and Phil (the classic era) but genuinely no one era is bad imo, just different

Just consistent heavy blues…I mean look at this shit lol

Hey that's Mickey Dee ,isn't it?

I think both eras of singers are amazing but no question I am also in the Bon camp for coolest mofo and the rawness he added to the songs/band. He was incredible.

I found this also

I love Orgasmatron , but it wasn't originally on Arise, they later added it as a bonus track on later runs.

As for #1 rock anthem of all time,,,,,,,in reality I'd say Juke Box Hero is, but We Will Rock You is more known the world over so maybe it's #1.

I'd say ac/dc should get #1 rock band career for sure.

Yeah i bought that album new and I dont remember that song (y)

The best thing about this thread is BY FAR the Motorhead tracks @Nashville Riff Co has posted

Mikkey Dee and Phil are on fire, what a great live band

Angus plays the blues:

One of the first songs I learned, that wasn't one of my dad's old tunes.
I remember playing this on cassette, and asking my Dad to show me the chords. On an old Rickenbacher, thru a Dual Showman!!!
Learning this, Shine on, and jamming leads to Steppenwolf's Pusher Man, led to Black Sabbath, Led Zep, Metallica, GnR, Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, then Grunge stuff, Tool, Pantera...
Somehow, it all comes back to those early tunes.

Back in Black has some incredible vocals. The problem is, BJ has never been able to sing that way live ever.

To me, that is ACDC's best album and it's not even close. And I love the old stuff.
Let there be rock is just ass good . It’s pure .
Raw and the guitars are ferocious and so was Bon . Equals to me because of what each perfect
Perfect perfect vs pure raw

This was my first Motorhead album I bought as a kid in 84 when it came out...I had seen their albums at the record store for a few years and always thought they looked like such scumbags so it had to sound great - and it did! To this day it is one of my favorite albums.

You really can't go wrong with their discography in my opinion, from the early days with tracks like Motorhead to later years with Get Back In Line, just great music

Beginning to end, Lemmy was the real deal 🤘

They are just a great hard rock band, though my folks thought I was into devil worship when I brought the Highway to Hell album home. I remember arguing that it was just a picture, and Angus is really just a Guitar God/dork doing Chuck Berry duckwalking in a schoolboy uniform. Mostly harmless...
