I just read that Qatar placed an order with Boeing yesterday for 150+ wide body planes worth roughly $300M + each :dunno:

During that US - Saudi forum, 145 deals were done worth hundreds of billions of dollars.

Also, "boxing out Iran" by making partnerships in that region seems extremely plausible to me. :dunno:
