The album's been out for a while, but I guess the video just came out? He and Duff have been good friends a long time, and I think he was on his last solo album too. All of Jerry's work is pretty solid. He's kept this going for 30+ years now and still remains relevant.

And it's not just Duff on bass. He also has Robert Trujillo from Metallica for half the songs. That's two bad ass bass players there.
The only time I can take Robert T seriously is Infectious Grooves.
To me that is his style.
Not knocking his playing at all, great player.
Him in Metallica is just weird to me...

I got that album on vinyl when it came out- it doesn't sound as good as I had hoped. Rainier Fog- on the other hand- sounds amazing. Very hifi, which is uncommon in the post-analog era of reproducing digital recordings on poplypropylene.

Long story short: "Off the Rails" is the Jerriest sleeper track on the album that should have been a single.

I’m a huge AIC fan. Jerry solo ( and let’s not pretend any new AIC output after tri-pod or more accurately the songs Get Born Again and Died, aren’t really just Jerry solo records) is ok. The guitar work is cool but the songs aren’t even in the same league as AIC.

Both in long term recovery. Duff's liver exploded at one point way back when.
