That's cool but Tim Henson would make a better muppet than a guitarist and Vai's crowning achievement is playing the losing guitarist in crossroads. Those guys have such noodle arms they aren't fit to carry T-Bone's guitar case.
Tim Henson is my favorite female guitarist.. actually it was the only female guitarist that made my list… equal rights & all… didn’t want to come off misogynistic like the rest of you fools….

Well, I was considering The Great Kat in lieu of Tom Scholz, but being a (sound)engineer myself, ol' Tom got the nod. :p
And it did help he singlehandedly wrote and played one of the best albums from the 70's.

I'm a boomer shitbird like everyone on RT now

I think Telecasters and New Balance 990 series are super neat

NOW DONT DISRESPECT NEIL YOUNG HE'S THE BEST GUITARIST EVER, HAVE YOU HEARD THE AMAZING GUITAR SOLO HE DID ON "ROCKIN IN THE FREE WORLD"?

Do you understand how much talent it takes to make stupid feedback like a fuckin child?
Hey now, I like my Tele.

That perspective cannot be classified as “ Top 10 guitarists” though.
Yeah on not on top 10 but I've always thought Young was a great player, he isn't like a virtuoso or a "Guitar God" like Page or something but credit where it's due :dunno:

I definitely think he deserves credit as an influential artist and a songwriter, no doubt

If this was a "top songwriter of all time" or "top lyricist" of all time list, it would completely make sense, even though it's not my speed musically

But that's exactly why it seems so "off" and ludicrous to put him on a "top guitarist of all time" list - it seems like putting an orange in the apple crate and then telling people "WELL IT'S MY CRATE SO IT BELONGS"

I mean, yeah? But it doesn't make any sense :ROFLMAO:

1. Lil Wayne
2. Usher
3. Corey Feldman
4. Henry Kaiser
5. Fred Durst
6. Marty McFly after his picture started to fade
7. The Devil from Crossroads
8. The owner of my local Mom & Pop store who always overprices everything and coulda been famous if only he’d got a big break unlike all those other losers who got breaks but didn’t deserve it.
9. Whichever Instagram player this week is faking solos by cutting 12 takes together and speeding the whole thing up by 40% then miming it.

Man those guys are awesome

We're on the same wavelength then, obviously these cretins don't understand that albums sold (in 1995 of course, because no one buys albums anymore) is the only metric that makes sense to use

He had his moments for sure. I'm still known to occasionally whip one out at a bondfire/acoustic guitar thing. The last time he wrote anything I can stand to listen to was in the early 70s though.
