My rig is sounding killer….

It's about having the right tool for the right job. That pedal is for stereo rigs to give separation. If you never ran it in stereo, you may have never really heard it.

I've never had this issue. Something might have been wrong with yours.
I didn't leave it on all the time, I just wanted to use it for leads but it seemed like a significant volume drop. 🤷‍♀️
 
I couldn't deal with the massive volume drop while using the Mimiq pedal.

I actually get a slight bump from it - but admittedly it may just be the separation. When I use it with two amps and two cabs and I stand in front - it spreads it out to where my brain hears like 5 cabs (audio points).

I do the opposite. I leave mine on all the time, and turn it off for solos and mono parts (intros and stuff).

Maybe it was something with the phasing? I know it can do some weird phasing stuff when the cabs are too close together.
