Trump and Musk

"yes" or "no" would've sufficed but now that you've dug the hole deeper I guess you can't doubt that God could've made earth a different shape than science says, kind of like science says plants need sunlight to survive but the bible says differently in the creation account.
Could have but didn't because we know what shape it is.

Science doesn't say plants need sunlight - science says they need light.

I haven't dug any hole at all. I have never said the Bible isn't true. I have questioned your interpretation in the face of certain realities.

This Musk/Trump fallout was inevitable, but I did not have Musk outing Trump being on the Epstein list or calling for his impeachment on my bingo card. All these people are crazy.

Some people are saying Musk is pissed cause the big beautiful bill eliminated gov subsidies that Musk has built his fraudulent fortune on. I've been saying that for a dozen years. He got his billions on the backs of the taxpayer.

Trump said today twice that Musk knew that Bill better than anyone and had for some time.

If that is true, then how could Musk be suddenly upset that his subsidies were missing :dunno:

Maybe it's a smokescreen and Trump is playing 4-D chess.

Homosexuality is very popular in Australia.

Lol - our economy might be smaller than Texas but our population is smaller than Texas. So how is that second world (incidentally the Eastern bloc is the 2nd world). We are one of the most wealthy countries on the planet. We have a country the size of the continental USA to a popluation of 26 million people.

We get nothing from the USA. The USA is our competitor in terms of trading with other countries. The US is our third largest trading partner. It only accounts for about 10% of exports and 12% of our imports. You aren't that important to us. We ask for and receive nothing from the USA in terms of aid which is how it should be.

Like any redneck, dyed-in-the-wool 'Murican, he views human existence as one big dick measuring contest.
Understanding the finer points and subtleties is too much hard work.

Damn, some stuff we totally agree on! But he's not wrong about exploding the debt if this bill goes through. We need to properly deal with both debt and spending.

I don't vote and am not consumed by partisan politics. I like to talk about politics but at the end of the day I don't really care which way it goes cause I always expect shit and that outlook has served me well. If I expect shit and it goes well, I am pleased. If I expect it to go well and it's shit, then I would be disappointed. I'd rather not be disappointed, lol.

I've voted for 35 years but I don't know if I will going forward. I'm coming around to your viewpoint because I have evidence that my civic participation has barely moved the needle on the outcomes I want. Voting against the worst case scenario every time is demoralizing.

I see voting as a way to impose my will upon others. I grew up in a place where everyone was trying to impose their will onto me. I also grew up in a place where city leaders, police, and the courts were exceedingly corrupt. I thought it was just my town but my town was just a microcosm of the larger world. I don't even go to jury duty. I guess I'm a citizen but this country has been a piece of shit so long that it seems to hold little, if any, meaning.

I couldn't have voted for her if I was an American - but I'm very disappointed with Trump.
That’s part of what is so embarrassing. Not only was Trump elected, but our country couldn’t even come up with someone to beat him.
It’s easy to blame the internet for this dark age of misinformation and ignorance, but in actuality it falls back on our leadership, which has been non existent for quite some time

On a good note at least the feud seemed to simmer down pretty quickly. Hopefully they can just disagree/discuss policy and not resort to infighting. The US will be much better when they work together.
